Who We Are

Pexco was founded in 2005 and is owned and operated by Jaco Henn – son of Mike & Marlene Henn, founders of Kolskoot Potshot (a gun shop found on-premises). We teach responsible and safe operation of firearms. Our team is made up of bona fide firearm experts who really know their stuff!

Our Story

Mike and Marlene Henn founded Potshot in 1981 out of their passion for firearms.

That’s allowed Jaco (their son) to practise his shooting from a very young age. Jaco received Junior National Colours for shooting at age 15. And, two years later, received his Senior National Colours. He has represented South Africa at various internationally-acclaimed tournaments, such as the Commonwealth and Olympic Games.

Jaco started instructing others at the age of 16 in sport shooting and basic self-defence. He continues to teach at Pexco to this day!
